Remote ROI

An ROI component that publishes color/position/size through the central property database and can be synchronised remotely.

Overview

quatm/GUI/widgets/ROI.py provides ROI: it inherits ROI and communicates its color, position and size through the central property database under a unique name, so that remote clients can view and adjust the ROI region in sync.

Methods

`update_from_properties`	Refreshes the ROI pen color and geometry from the color/position/size stored in the properties

Usage

from quatm.GUI.widgets.ROI import ROI

roi = ROI(name="analysis_roi", parent=view)   # name must be unique; duplicate names share properties
roi.update_from_properties()

Note: name is the key of this ROI in the central property database, so make sure it does not clash with any name in the property dictionary; after a property change, calling update_from_properties refreshes the ROI appearance and position in sync.
