Device manager

PyVISA device discovery and driver binding: enumerate, query and select instruments and associate driver files.

Overview

quatm/GUI/entries/device_manager.py provides the device manager (VISADeviceLister): it scans the VISA instruments on the system through PyVISA, queries the device identity (*IDN?) and selects a driver file to bind, then adds the device to the selected list as a DeviceInfo record for use in device configuration.

Components

Component	Description
`VISADeviceLister`	VISA device list tool: two columns (enumeration/query + selected devices/driver files)
`DeviceInfo`	Device description: name, type, driver file and additional parameters

Workflow

1. refresh_devices()      → scan the VISA bus and fill the device list
2. query_device_info()    → send an *IDN? query to the selected device
3. select_driver_file()   → choose and bind a driver file
4. add_device_to_selected() → add to the selected device list (de-duplicated)
